jag, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I am not an owner, manager, or associated with the pizza shoppe in anyway, except as a happy patron. I've been going there five or six times a year for over 10 years, and have NEVER had a bad meal. The service can be challenging at times, but that is to be expected with Generation Y. But if you don't like, that's just more for the rest of us who won't have to deal with your self-righteous indignation.

Not what I expected. The place looks like a chain, was pricey, and well the pizza was more typical of the midwest then the east coast. I would certainly stop here before eating the poor excuse for food that any pizza chain has to offer.

I grew up in Joysey, Lived in New Yawk for 5 years, moved to rural MA, and have now been living here for three weeks. My quest for the best pizza in Omaha brought me to Franks. I certainly appreciated his commentary on New Joysey. I also appreciated the grease! the crust was the right consistency, the sauce above average, and although the cheese reminded me of Lisanti, I am hoping for better flavor overall the next time I head over to his conveniant location.

Best pizza in Omaha.
Crust was thin and crunchy (as sopposed to).
Sauce was light and flavorfull. (I always order with half the sauce portion). Must places use tomato paste (not the same as sauce).
Ingredients where fresh (I order a tomato, onions, mushroms, chicken, and extra cheese).

So far, Best Pizza in Omaha!!!

Regards.

I absolutely love Frank's pizza. I am from Omaha but I lived on the east coast when I was young in the 1960's and came to love NY pizza. The corner pizza joint sold by the slice and I was there as much as I could afford. I first tried Frank's when I got a Groupon. I was so excited when I first tried it, the memories it brought. I go there an average of 5 times a month. Joe is a little abrasive and I do warn the people I recommend this place to but I think he reminds me of the Cake Boss. I wish I knew of this place before a year ago. Oh and by the way the chicken parm is to die for. Thanks Joe for such wonderful pizza.

As a fellow Bensonite, I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. I had to wait 45 minutes for a medium pep pizza and mozzarella sticks that were still raw. It was horrible and a frozen pizza out a box looked better than what they served us. The sauce was Chef Boyarde standard. After that wonderful experience, we paid a cover charge to listen to live music there and then after they took everybody's money, they told the bands they couldn't play because they were too loud and refused to give refunds. The "manager" was extremely unprofessional and wanted to get into a brawl with me, a grown woman, over refunding us our $10. He puffed his chest out and stood in my way when I tried to leave. I couldn't beleive it. Absolutely disgusted and will NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE!!!
